The Department of Scientific Research is responsible for managing and coordinating the discipline construction and scientific research activities of the entire hospital. Its responsibilities include formulating plans for the hospital’s discipline development; overseeing the application, establishment, progress supervision, completion, and appraisal of scientific research projects; evaluating research achievements and applying for science and technology awards; reviewing and supervising research budgets; collecting, organizing, and documenting scientific research archives; registering participation in domestic and international academic conferences; registering and monitoring the submission and publication of academic papers; handling daily operations of the Hospital Scientific Research Ethics Committee; and managing and providing services for the Institute of Pediatrics.
